The ZENESIS™ Quartzite II is a premium bridge saw blade built specifically for one of the most difficult materials a stone fabrication shop encounters: dense quartzite. Designed for fabricators who need both cutting speed and an exceptionally clean finished edge, the Quartzite II combines ZENESIS patterned-diamond technology, a newly formulated metal bond, premium-grade diamonds, and an extremely rigid heavy-duty core.

Quartzite can expose weaknesses in a conventional bridge saw blade very quickly. Excessive blade flex, glazing, wandering, heat, and edge chipping can all become problems when cutting particularly dense material. The Quartzite II was engineered around those challenges. Its diamond pattern and specialized bond are designed to keep the blade cutting freely while producing smooth, virtually chip-free edges on quartzite, hard granite, and engineered stone.

One of the biggest advantages of the Quartzite II is its core. ZENESIS describes it as the strongest core they have produced, designed to provide exceptional stability and near-zero deflection even during aggressive miter cuts.

That rigidity matters when cutting expensive quartzite slabs. A blade that flexes or wanders can affect cut accuracy, edge quality, and miter consistency. The Quartzite II's super heavy-duty core helps the blade run true and track straight through difficult material, making it particularly well suited for demanding straight cuts and precision miters.

The tradeoff to an extremely rigid bridge saw blade can be increased cutting noise compared with some conventional blades. ZENESIS addresses this with its Silent Core noise-dampening construction, which helps reduce resonance from the blade core.

For shops that regularly encounter difficult quartzites such as Taj Mahal and similarly dense materials, the Quartzite II is a specialized blade designed to handle materials that can challenge a general-purpose granite blade.

Wet Cutting Only

The Quartzite II is designed specifically for wet bridge saw cutting. Proper water flow is especially important when processing dense quartzite.

Make sure both sides of the blade receive a strong and consistent supply of clean water. Proper cooling helps control blade temperature, flush stone slurry from the cut, expose fresh diamond, and maintain cutting performance.

Do not starve the blade of water or attempt to use the Quartzite II as a dry-cut blade.

BladeRunner Cutting Tip

On extremely hard quartzite, don't assume that simply forcing the saw faster will increase productivity. Let the blade and diamond bond do the cutting.

Start with the correct RPM for the blade diameter, make sure water delivery is excellent, and establish a feed rate that allows the blade to cut freely without excessive load on the saw.

Once the blade is cutting cleanly and staying open, feed rate can be increased based on the particular quartzite being processed. Different quartzites can behave very differently, so the ideal feed rate for one slab may not be ideal for another.

The 14", 16", and 18" blades also include 2 Breton mounting holes and 1 Donatoni mounting hole for compatibility with many common professional bridge saw configurations.

Recommended Quartzite RPM Range

Use the appropriate operating speed for your blade diameter and always stay within the operating limits of your bridge saw and blade.

Always follow the blade manufacturer's operating recommendations and your bridge saw manufacturer's limitations. Never exceed the maximum safe RPM for the blade or machine.
