The Diamax Cyclone High Speed Silent Core is a production-focused bridge saw blade engineered for fast, clean cutting of granite, engineered quartz, and marble. Unlike conventional segments where diamond distribution can be more random, the Cyclone uses multiple controlled layers of diamond throughout the segment. This helps keep fresh diamond engaged with the material and supports more consistent cutting from the beginning of the blade's life through the end of the segment.

The blade is built for high production feed rates and is especially well suited for everyday granite and engineered quartz cutting. Diamax recommends feed rates in the 10–17 ft./min range depending on material, blade size, saw horsepower, water delivery, and operating conditions.

The silent-core construction helps reduce cutting noise in the fabrication shop while maintaining the rigidity needed for accurate bridge saw work. The blade is also available with 20 mm or extra-tall 26 mm segments, giving shops the option to prioritize standard production use or additional segment life.

Actual feed rate and operating speed should be adjusted for material hardness, slab thickness, saw horsepower, water flow, blade condition, and cut type.

Getting the Best Performance from the Cyclone

Match the blade RPM to the blade diameter rather than running every size at the same spindle speed. Diamax recommends progressively lower RPM as blade diameter increases.

Use strong, consistent water flow on both sides of the blade. Proper water delivery helps cool the segments, remove slurry from the kerf, and keep the patterned diamond bond cutting freely.

Increase feed rate gradually while monitoring edge quality and machine load. The Cyclone is designed to run fast, but the best cutting speed will vary depending on granite hardness, engineered quartz composition, material thickness, and saw horsepower.

For quartzite, porcelain, Dekton, or other ultra-compact materials, use a blade specifically designed for those applications. The Cyclone High Speed Silent Core is at its best when granite and engineered quartz make up the majority of the shop's production.
